The enamel bracelet is one of the most iconic Hermès items, and one of the most technical. The house has been producing them since the 1960s: a metal core upon which enamel is applied, fired, and then polished, resulting in that perfectly smooth, hard, and deep surface that no paint can imitate. This also explains their longevity—well-treated enamel does not tarnish.
This version is the most understated of the line. Where most enamel bracelets feature patterns from the house's scarves, this one carries nothing but plain cream enamel and the HERMÈS-PARIS mark. The signature serves as the design. It is a choice that changes everything in terms of use: without a pattern, the bracelet pairs with absolutely everything and can be worn daily as a staple piece, whereas printed models call for a specific outfit.
The frame is rose gold-plated—a softer and warmer hue than classic gold, which echoes the cream of the enamel beautifully. The contrast remains subtle, which is exactly the point.
